Live entertainment to help feet get StoMpin’

A bevy of live entertainment will join the ranks of runners, walkers and cyclists this Saturday (July 28) for StoMp the Mega Quarry.


The event is a fundraiser for the North Dufferin Agricultural and Community Taskforce (NDACT) in its efforts to combat the proposed 2,316-acre Melancthon quarry.


Participants have the choice of taking part in the five-km walk/run, 10-km walk/run, half marathon, 10-km bike tour or 20-km bike tour and the kids dash for children ages 10 and under. The full marathon has been cancelled due to lack of participation.
All profits will go towards NDACT to help pay for ongoing studies, legal fees and other expenses......
