 The first 'Artists Against the MegaQuarry' exhibit to be held in Toronto
was a hit! More than 20 pieces were sold! Thanks to all who attended and contributed to the great cause. The opening reception on Friday night was packed as more than 150 guests mingled with the artists. It was busy on Saturday, as well. What was striking was the number of new faces we encountered, Torontonians who were clearly engaged in the mega quarry issue and attended to show their support.

 Many thanks to volunteer, Debbie McNair, and her colleagues at the studio for generously opening their space to us for the two days. As well, special thanks to organizers Sandi Wong and Martha Bull for all of their hard work.
