Reminder: Soupstock - this coming Sunday

A reminder about Soupstock:

When : This coming Sunday  - October 21

soupstock-1The event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine.

Where:  Woodbine Park , Toronto (Queen St. E. & Coxwell area)

Presented by: The Canadian Chefs’ Council and the David Suzuki Foundation

WHAT DOES IT COST?

The event is free admission, so all are welcome.

Tickets will be sold for soup at a price of $10 for 3 servings.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING?

Please bring your own bowls, spoons and napkins.

 

All proceeds from Soupstock will go to the Canadian Chefs’ Congress and David Suzuki Foundation. They will be used to continue building a community of support for stopping the controversial Mega-Quarry and for other environmental and food-related issues.

NDACT will have 2 booths in the "Friends of Soupstock" section. Drop in to see us! We will have brochures and merchandise including our new Bumper Stickers and Save Life hoodies.

 The "Friends of Soupstock" section, is the "Star" section of the map, at the corner of Eastern Avenue and Coxwell Avenue.

Come and enjoy soup from over 200 chefs and live performances. George Stroumboulopoulos and Jeremy Taggart will be the Masters of Ceremonies.
